Ever heard of the Benjamin Banneker Academy Lady Warriors? Well you will now. These young ladies have made an extreme improvment in their style of soccer in 3 years. From going from only scoring one goal and only winning games by forfiet, to a 7 to 4 record, to an undefeated record of 11-0-1, they have made the biggest improvement, and its all because of Coach Garbar and the sacrifice the girls have made to be apart of the new program.

The girls were good enough to get a by (automatically go to the second round) in the playoffs, and they unfortunatly lost to Van Buren after a long tedious game. They played for 100 minutes (regulare 80 minutes gametime and 2 10 minute over time halves), and then it came down to penalty shots and it just wast meant for them to win the game. As the saying goes, everything happens for a reason. We are extremely proud of them though, at the least.
